Weinzierl has announced the release of their latest innovation in home automation: the KNX TP Push Button 420.1 secure. This cutting-edge addition to the MATCH 55 push-button series integrates a bus coupling unit with a sophisticated room temperature controller, offering users enhanced control over their smart home environments.
The KNX TP Push Button 420.1 secure features an elegant design with customizable options, including one or two rockers and up to four independent button functions. It is equipped with two or four multicolor LEDs (red, blue, and magenta) to provide clear visual feedback on various device states, complemented by a multitone sound generator for audible notifications.
Designed for versatility, the push button supports a broad range of functions, such as switching, dimming, shutter control, scene and color adjustments, and sequence management. It also includes a room temperature controller capable of managing heating, cooling, and fan stages, ensuring optimal comfort throughout any space.
The device boasts 10 independent logic or time functions and supports KNX Data Security for robust protection. Its mechanical specifications include a plastic housing with a wall mounting plate of 71 x 71 mm and an installation depth of 11 mm. The push button is compatible with MATCH 55 rockers and standard frames with internal dimensions of 55 x 55 mm.
Additional features include an integrated temperature sensor, connectors for the KNX bus, and external switches/LEDs. The KNX TP Push Button 420.1 secure is powered via the KNX bus, drawing approximately 12 mA when all LEDs are active.
