URC, a manufacturer of smart home automation and control technology, and Allterco Robotics, a worldwide IoT brand, have entered a new chapter of collaboration in smart home and commercial automation technology.
URC and Allterco Robotics U.S.’s flagship brand Shelly have begun offering certain Shelly products with Total Control, URC’s residential and commercial automation platform, effective immediately. This comes on the heels of the brands’ recent announcement of complete integration across major home and office automation sectors, including lighting, climate, energy management/electrical, shades/drapes, and mechanical operation for features such as doors and windows.
URC dealers will now have access to certain Shelly products, allowing them to get all of their automation needs from one place. Wi-Fi-operated relay switches, scene activation buttons, dimmers, door or window sensors, flood sensors, humidity and temperature sensors, motion sensors, RGBW controllers, plugs, and power devices are among the Shelly products which are now available through URC’s e-commerce portal.
This integration has a lot of advantages for smart home and commercial setups. Shelly goods bring a diverse set of sensors that can be used in a wide range of projects, from small to large. Shelly products are also Wi-Fi enabled, allowing for seamless connection with URC’s Total Control system. There is no need for a gateway or a succession of gateways, making installation simpler and more efficient.
Additional benefits include automated lighting, climate, energy management/electrical, and shades/drapes, as well as fast, easy e-commerce options and delivery information. Also with professional installation, Shelly sensors can trigger scenes within the Total Control environment and URC’s voice commands via Alexa, Google Home, or Comcast Xfinity to provide a two-way connection with simple operation. Finally, you may use URC controllers and the mobile app to operate your house or workplace from any room or via geofencing.
