Godrej Locks & Architectural Fittings and Systems (GLAFS), a prominent division of Godrej & Boyce, celebrated the successful conclusion of the third edition of “The GeeVees Awards” over the weekend. Launched in 2021-2022 by Godrej Locks & Architectural Fittings and Systems, The GeeVees Awards is a prestigious platform recognizing India’s finest innovations in architecture and interior design. The recent ceremony, held in Goa on March 9, 2024, showcased exceptional projects in sustainable architecture and interior design from across India.
This year’s GeeVees 2024 received an impressive 1482 submissions, highlighting the growing emphasis on sustainable design solutions. More than 50 creative minds from the architecture and interior design community gathered to applaud peers who are leading the way towards a greener and healthier future. Winners were announced across various sectors such as hospitality, residential, healthcare, education, commercial, and more, showcasing the breadth of innovation and excellence within the industry.
Shyam Motwani, Business Head at Godrej Locks & Architectural Fittings and Systems, expressed the company’s commitment to nurturing fresh ideas and talent. He stated that The GeeVees Awards serves as an ideal platform to appreciate and recognize design ingenuity. The 2024 edition of the awards celebrated creativity and sustainability, with a panel of respected industry experts scouring the nation for talent in sustainable architecture and interior design. Motwani emphasized that beyond recognition, their mission is to inspire architects and designers to create designs that aesthetically please while contributing positively to society.
A panel of sixteen esteemed jury members, highly influential in shaping the architecture and interior design fraternity, graced the event to celebrate the intersection of architecture and sustainability.
