The GeeVees Awards 2025: A Celebration of Design, Innovation, and Sustainability

The highly anticipated Godrej’s The GeeVees Awards 2025 took place in Goa marking the culmination of its fourth edition. Widely regarded as one of the premier platforms for recognizing excellence in design, innovation, and sustainability, the GeeVees Awards 2025 brought together leading architects, designers, and industry experts to recognize groundbreaking projects designed across various sectors.

Before the grand awards ceremony, Shyam Motwani, Business Head of Locks and Architectural Solutions, addressed the media at a select roundtable where he highlighted the company’s recent growth and strategic initiatives. Over the years Locks and Architectural Solutions, a key business unit of Godrej Enterprises Group, reaffirmed its leadership position as India’s most trusted brand in locks and home safety, driven by continuous innovation and an expanding digital product portfolio.

Addressing the media professional he said, “As the digital lock segment continues to soar with a 45% year-on-year growth, the company has also experienced a surge in e-commerce sales, which have doubled in the past year. This growth reflects the changing preferences of today’s consumers, who increasingly prioritize smart, connected, and design-driven security solutions. The company’s commitment to Make in India and BIS standards is central to its strategy of delivering high-quality, safe, and innovative products that cater to evolving consumer needs.

Shyam Motwani, Business Head of Locks and Architectural Solutions shared, “Our growth is a direct result of listening to our customers and delivering the seamless, innovative solutions they demand. E-commerce has become a crucial part of our strategy, and we’re expanding our portfolio to better serve consumers seeking smart safety solutions.”

He ended the conference on a positive note with his projections that Godrej Enterprises Group aims to achieve ₹2,500 crore in revenue by 2028, underpinned by continued investments in R&D, innovation, and advanced manufacturing.

The GeeVees Awards 2025 recognized 43 visionary winners across 15 categories, showcasing outstanding projects from various sectors, including hospitality, residential, healthcare, education, and commercial. The event also attracted over 45 architects and designers, who gathered to celebrate the innovative work of their peers and the impact of design-led innovations in India.
