Intesis has introduced enhanced compatibility for Daikin HVAC systems through its IN770AIR bi-directional multi-indoor unit gateway, offering a streamlined solution for integrating up to 64 Daikin indoor units, including VRV, Sky Air, VRV Hidrobox, Air Curtains, and HRV models. The gateway connects to the outdoor unit via the DIII-Net protocol, allowing for individual monitoring and control of indoor units through KNX systems.
Designed to adapt to projects of any size, the IN770AIR gateway offers a cost-effective solution with three license options to suit varying system scales:
- XXS License (IN770AIRXXSO000): Supports up to 4 indoor units
- Small License (IN770AIR00SO000): Supports up to 16 indoor units
- Medium License (IN770AIR00MO000): Supports up to 64 indoor units
The IN770AIR gateway is configured through the Intesis MAPS configuration and diagnostic software, which automatically detects connected Daikin indoor units and their control signals once the gateway is linked to the DIII-Net bus.
Additionally, the gateway supports integration with energy meters, allowing the use of Intesis’ Power Estimation algorithm to monitor the energy consumption of each indoor unit. This valuable data helps optimise energy efficiency and inform decision-making when developing energy-saving strategies.
For further support, users can access the online HVAC compatibility tool to check unit references. If any issues arise, creating an account and using the inquiry form will allow users to consult with an expert engineer for personalised assistance.
With the IN770AIR, Intesis continues to offer innovative solutions for efficient, scalable, and cost-effective HVAC integration across a wide range of commercial and residential applications.
